
The OECD Crete Centre Forum on Population Dynamics returns for its second annual conference. The event, titled “Demographic shifts: Shaping tomorrow’s labour markets”, will take place in Chania, Crete, on November 11-12, 2025.
The Forum brings together international experts, policymakers and academics to discuss the challenges of demographic shifts. This year’s conference will focus on ageing, the challenge of longevity, and the implications for labour markets. Topics will include the effect of population ageing on labour markets and productivity, while discussions will be held on how to leverage longevity.
The conference is organized by the OECD Crete Centre on Population Dynamics in collaboration with the Delphi Economic Forum and the Municipality of Chania.
